Counsellor Zhuang Ruijin, met yesterday the Deputy Secretary General of Sharjah Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Ms. Ebtesam Saeed Al Souqi. During the meeting which was held in the presence of Commercial Counsellor Zhang Yijun of Chinese Consulate General in Dubai, Chief Representative Zhang Xijing of CCPIT to GCC that based in Dubai, staffs of Economic & Commercial Counsellor’s Office of Chinese Embassy, and a number of officials from Sharjah Chamber of Commerce & Industry, the two sides discussed bilateral relations and exchanged views on further expanding business cooperation between Sharjah and China.
Counsellor Zhuang briefed his responsibility in promoting Sino-UAE economic and trade cooperation in Chinese Embassy in UAE and also introduced business relations between UAE and China. He said both UAE and China are enjoying fast economic growth, the bilateral business cooperation maitains a sound momentum due to the continuous dedication from visionary leaders of the two countries and the positive participation by government departments, intermediary organizations and business people from the two sides.
Counsellor Zhuang reviewed the good relations between Sharjah and China, he particularly stessed Sharjah’s role in the favourable development history between UAE and China. He highly spoke of Sheihk Lubna’s role model and strong impetus to Sino-UAE business relations. He said Sheihk Lubna was an important member of Sharjah royal family, and now was invited in China for an official visit, this was the second visit since Her Excellency bacame Minister of Economy of UAE.
When talk about the business cooperation opportunities, Counsellor Zhuang introduced three big exhibitions in China namely 101st Canton Fair(in south China of Guangzhou), China Investment & Trade Forum(in east China of Xiamen) and the coming Expo Central China 2007(in central China of Zhengzhou). Counsellor Zhuang also briefed China’s National Economic and Technological Zones(NETZs) and noted that NETZs had become China's most vigorous hot spot for investment, and been playing as a fresh force in China for advancing industrialization and urbanization.
Ms. Ebtesam introduced Sharjah development history since the last 70’s, She welcomed Counsellor Zhuang visit Sharjah Frequently.
After the meeting, Counsellor Zhuang visited Sharjah Airport Internation Free zone with the company of official from Sharjah Chamber of Commerce & Industry. (Zhang Jun)
